As I transition my blog, here is an awesome method of getting sound therapy.
Singing Bowls have been used for centuries for healing and meditation. The range of sounds they create restore the normal frequencies of the body, mind and soul. A type of energy medicine, these bowls promote healing from pain, depression, and other forms of dis-ease. .
Sound vibrations impact our nervous system. The sound from these singing bowls engages our relaxation reflex and inhibits the stress or pain response.
See the link in my story for for on these beautiful bowls. I have also added the sound they make...soothing

Sometimes you get guided to a certain focus. Well, it seems that way with https://www.themodestyogi.com/ , which has been my blog for a while, corresponding to my handle on Instagram. Over the past week, I've realized that I cannot put everything into that handle and I need something that can be more lifestyle, fashion oriented. Having @ModestYogi has pigeonholed me into the yoga category. Yes, I am passionate about yoga, but really post on mostly fashion and lifestyle. Therefore, my handle has been converted to @SimplyByNatasha. I think it fits me and can cater to more of what I am about. So, get ready for more great posts and I look forward to hearing from you regarding this change, and please have patience during the transition. The new blog link is http://www.natashacall.com/blog
Just recovering from a very eventful week. Getting in about 2.5 miles and 40 or so minutes of yoga. Plus spending time with pets that have been caught in the shuffle. It’s a beautiful day!
As everyone knows by now, this has been a busy week.
Last night, my son Nathan graduated from high school. It was a 3 hour program because his class of graduates was almost 900 kids.
It really was quite amazing because we filled up the Marriott Center at BYU. They had to have some of the graduates sit in the bleachers because they didn't have enough room on the court.
The excitement in the room was awesome! It was like we were at a sporting event (which is usually what happens in that building.
It really took me back to my own graduation day, 30 years ago. I was so ready to be out of high school and on my own. I could not wipe the grin from my face.
I am so proud of my son for graduating and overcoming his anxiety to be able to make some major accomplishments.
We really haven't seen him since I picked him up at the school at about 4:45 am, after he was dropped off there from being bussed to an all night grad party. I think we are all kind of zombies today, albeit smiling zombies.
This picture below is of me 30 years ago at my own graduation, next to my son yesterday at his.
